All house markets across South East Queensland are in recovery according to prominent property researcher and commentator, Michael Matusik.
In his latest ‘Missive’, Matusik has combined housing sales and price growth statistics for 11 major SE Qld regions, with both graphs showing current upward trends. He notes however, that the house values across SE Qld rose, on average, by just 4.1% across the last decade. The highest growth figures were in Inner Brisbane (5.9%), Brisbane South (5.5%) and Brisbane North (5.2%). Over the last 12 months, the highest growth was seen in Brisbane South (8.8%).
During 2015, the report forecasts accelerating prices on the Sunshine and Gold Coasts, Moreton Bay area and across Brisbane’s western suburbs.
